We are offering a Level 4 apprenticeship as a Cyber Security Technologist. This role requires an individual to apply an understanding of cyber security to protect organisations, systems, information, personal data and people from attacks and unauthorised access. Fighting cyber security threats is a multi-billion-pound industry, and ABP are seeking cyber security professionals to continue to help keep our data safe.
Cyber Security Technologists require an understanding of security concepts and technology, and how to mitigate risks arising from threats. They will develop and apply practical knowledge of information security to deliver solutions that fulfil an organisations requirement.
How long does it take? The apprenticeship will take 36 months.
Where are they based?
This role will be based in our Humber region (Hull, Grimsby, Immingham and Goole).
What are the entry requirements?
- GCSEs at grade 4/C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Demonstrable interest in IT and desire to build on technical skills
- An aptitude for hands-on problem solving
- Able to use initiative and take ownership for own performance
- Strong team-working
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to balance work and the coursework
