Job Description

Senior Cyber Security / CISO Consultant

Up to £600 per day

A great opportunity has arisen to join an award-winning Cyber Security specialist consultancy as they continue to grow their security teams throughout the organisation.

They provide expert advice and services to customers, including enterprise, guiding them on the journey to establishing, improving, and maturing their cyber security across governance, risk and compliance as well as the cloud. Underpinning this with the leading security products in the cyber space.

We are looking for an experienced cyber security consultant, or cyber security professional looking to move from an end user environment into true consulting, and who understands the role of a CISO and the value this can bring as a consulting service to multiple organisations who don’t have an incumbent head

The Role:

This is a customer-facing role that will require a mixture of superb communication, commercial, security and relationship management skills. Coupled with a solid breadth across cyber security market and the security enabler technologies to deliver expert advice to customers to help develop, their entire cyber security strategy from establishing roadmaps through to delivering change through enablers.

Responsibilities:

Leading and delivering cyber security assessments though workshops
Supporting multiple customers, acting as the CISO through a fractionlised consulting service
Assessing current risks to customer systems and process. Proposing new, beneficial technology and process changes for cyber awareness.
Providing high level cyber solutions to customers alongside risk management, vulnerability management and cloud security, including excellent documentation
Consulting and advising customers on Data Protection
Internal mentorship of Junior Consultants and Analysts
Producing reports and presentations and delivering these to clients at all levels of the business
Becoming an SME for at least 1 of the cyber security areas within the consulting team
Skills / Desirable Experience:

Understanding of industry standard frameworks such as: NIST 800-53, ISO 27001 Series, PCI DDS & GDPR
Experience with a cloud technology (Azure, AWS or GCP)
Excellent communication skills
Experience in a customer-facing cyber security role
Desirable qualifications (Not essential):

CISSP
CISM
CCISO
CRISC
Prince2/TOGAF
