Cyber Security Analyst – Inside IR35

Contract Term: until end of March 2023

Contracting Authority: NHS Digital

Location: Leeds/London on a hybrid basis

Due to the nature of this role, the ideal candidate will need active Government SC clearance at time of application or a willingness to undergo the required vetting.

As aCyber Security Analyst, your main responsibilities would be:

  • Work with the leads of their respective domain(s) to document, communicate and design all necessary procedures, templates, guidelines and enablers.
  • Take inputs from leads and other teams in NHSD and DSC to draft new procedures and associated documents, re-draft items in case of changes, obtaining approvals as part of review processes.
  • Provide insights to Leads on how to optimise current processes, procedures or documents to make the DSC more secure.
  • Attend workshops with teams and clearly undertaking follow-up actions, providing inputs to the teams on the processes and communicating existing processes.
  • Communicate processes of their respective domains to the DSC teams.
  • Maintain an open communication channel between all DSC teams in order to respond to and/or receive any inputs / outputs of processes related to their domain.

 


You’ll have relevant experience in:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • The ability to build and present reports that can be easily understood by senior leadership.
  • Proven experience of implementation of an ISMS in line with an industry framework e.g. ISO27001.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of respective domain such as policy, risk, controls, compliance standards, KPIs, KRIs.
