Job Description

We are working with a global financial organisation, helping them find a new Cyber Support Analyst. So, what is this about and why is this worth your time?

Career – this is a career building role and right now is a great time to join the team as they further their efforts to digitise and automate processes internally. Half of your role will be focused on this improvement and cyber projects whilst the other half will be more along the lines of IT support and user access reviews.

Growth – as you mature in the role over the next twelve months, you can expect both challenges and reward, internal progression is on the cars in your first year. Beyond this, you’re joining a team that wants you to grow, they will train you in cyber security – ultimately, you’ll can become a cyber security consultant/penetration tester, several recent graduates have gone on to these types of roles.

Reward – this opportunity is rewards from day one, offering a generous bonus and a market leading employer contribution starting at 10%.

I’m looking for someone who’s looking to take up a challenge, someone who wants a career with progression, ideally coming from an IT support or helpdesk environment helping users on a regular basis.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within IT support environment, this could be from infrastructure, application, or user support.
  • Great communication skills, you’ll be speaking with users across the globe with an emphasis on the US.
  • Autonomy, make no mistake, you’re joining a supportive team that want to see you succeed but you need to be able to manage your own workload – this isn’t a role where you’ll be told what to do every day.
  • An understanding or interest in penetration testing or wider cyber security will be useful further down the line as opportunities to cross-train present themselves.

Benefits: You’ll be well looked after, with a healthy pension starting at 10%, Bonus scheme, medical insurance, 25 days holiday (in addition to bank holidays) with an opportunity to purchase a further 5 days, and life assurance to name a few. This business firmly has employee well-being at the forefront of its mission – and it’s only getting better.
