Applications are invited for the post of Cyber Security Training Officer in the IT Services Department.
The Cyber Security Training Officer will lead the development of cyber security training, communications and awareness campaigns. They will procure, develop and deliver online training for all staff and students and specialist training to particular role holders. They will work closely with colleagues supporting our virtual learning environment, HR and the internal comms team to design and maximise the success of awareness campaigns and training initiatives.
Royal Holloway University has exciting digital aspirations as well as a complex and diverse IT offering. The role of Cyber Security Training Officer will play a key role in ensuring the correct security posture for the College. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to develop their skills and experience beyond the training remit and support the wider cyber security operations team.
Ideally, you will have experience of developing and delivering training and / or online content for the purposes of user education. We will also expect a creative approach in how to engage with the users and increase awareness and positive security behaviours.
