Cyber Security – Crisis and Incident Response
A career in our Crisis & Incident Response team, within Cyber Security, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients deal with some of the most urgent issues facing businesses and governments today. We help organisations from all sectors operate securely in the digital world. Our advisors help clients reduce their exposure to threats, improve their defences and respond to cyber incidents. We also help our clients address the legal issues around breaches, data protection and privacy and implement a culture and environment where people understand how to behave securely and do the right thing.

It’s a vast and complex field that involves everything from cyber security strategy and technical design, implementing effective security solutions and processes, to responding to cyber incidents and breaches.

Our team is focused on supporting highly technical specialisms which help our clients to detect and respond to vulnerabilities in their IT environments. During this three-year programme you’ll dedicate yourself to the specialism that you join to build up your technical knowledge and experience to be an effective technical cyber security expert. Some of the specialisms you could work in include: Crisis Management, Incident Response or Identity & Access Management.

Our graduate training programme is underpinned by a development framework that broadens and deepens your knowledge. You’ll learn from hands-on coaching and an outstanding variety of work, picking up business, personal and technical skills you can use across the network, and throughout your career.

What you’ll do
Identity & Access Management (IdAM)
Within our IdAM team you’ll dedicate yourself to the specialism to build up your technical knowledge and experience to be an effective technical cyber security expert. You’ll be a key member of the team, providing specialist advice as part of client engagements working on cyber transformation and migration, advising on secure IdAM practices, or optimising cyber defence operations, ensuring we are able to deliver high quality work to clients in the IdAM space.

What you’ll gain

The team will provide you with an introduction to Identity & Access Management (IdAM) fundamentals through initial training courses during your first few months.

What you’ll need

You’ll need to have achieved or be on track to pass an undergraduate degree or above in any subject, however a STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Maths) subject is preferable. You’ll need to demonstrate a passion for a career in technology and how organisations use it.

We determine whether you’re on course to pass based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study.
