Our Security Operations Center is hiring, we are looking for you to join us as a Cyber Security Analyst.

Placed within our Security Operations Center, our Cyber Security Analysts are responsible for the proactive monitoring of Computacenter, by investigating and triaging cyber events whilst working alongside other technical towns that belong to the Cyber Security Group. In this role you will be performing in-depth long analysis for all Cyber Security Incidents and research on the latest threats to Computacenter. As well as recommending effective remediation actions.

As a team we operate on a 24×7 shift basis, working 12 hours shifts days and nights, using the latest cutting-edge tools and technologies available to a leading SOC function.

What you’ll be doing

Operation of multiple toolsets delivering Security Information and Event management
Triage, investigation and analysis of cyber events present on security monitoring tooling
Follow playbook / runbook tasks to ensure investigation and remediation tasks are delivered to appropriate resolver team
Follow playbook / runbook tasks to ensure investigation and remediation tasks deliver end to end security operations delivery
Support Computacenter Level 2 Analysts in tuning of use cases and playbooks
Support Computacenter incident management function in cyber investigation
Support managed service delivery incident management function in cyber event investigation
Investigate vulnerability data to support the investigation of cyber event analysis
Completes regular reviews of customer log collection assets in line with contractual delivery
Completed daily reviews of all security monitoring & analytics applications as per runbook requirements
Support in onboarding / offboarding assets to the security monitoring applications
Complete regular health check for assets not reporting to security monitoring applications
Complete regular reporting to customers on security monitoring & analytics. Reporting will comprise of executive summary, detailed information on threat & vulnerability and appendices detailing assets, risk and exposure.

What you’ll bring

IT experience with a basic understanding of IT technologies
Analytical approach to problem solving
Must be able to achieve specific vetting requirements for customer delivery
Ability to solve problems
Good knowledge of important IT platforms, methods and applications; comprehensive understanding of information assurance from a people, process and technology perspective
Awareness of ITIL Foundation
Willingness to self-development of own knowledge according to market, customer, and CC requirements
Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel including macros and formulas
Ability to create regular reports at detailing the delivery of services offered
Ability to review technical or procedural documents or process outputs to assure defined requirements have been fulfilled
Ability to interpret technical information and be able to relay this in an understandable manner
Good knowledge of all aspects of Information Assurance and Cyber Security
Experienced in security incident management investigations
Ability to identify and drive security service improvement
Ability to attain relevant security clearance.
