    What you’ll be doing

    • Scheduling security testing (using third party suppliers) of Group Function systems; reviewing and advising on fixes required and reporting on remediation activities to get an overall view of security risks
    • Creating application user cases for security monitoring incidents; including the co-ordination of application changes to produce relevant logs, assisting in tuning events from output and MI reporting to maintain our security event visibility
    • Offering security consultancy to individuals or projects led by Group Function IT, reviewing designs and following risk assessment/management procedures as required
    • Preparing and delivering security awareness material to Group Functions staff and reviewing reports from phishing campaigns to identify potential issues and training needs
    • Helping to deliver group-wide security strategy and local security improvements, be it new technologies or processes
    • Assisting with the review of new suppliers or assessing compliance of projects against security requirements and standards

    What we’re looking for

    • You’ll have a keen interest in information security and thus understand trends in security threats
    • If you have a analytical mindset with an enthusiasm for Information Security then we want to hear from you!
    • Experience of contributing to major security incident management would be great
    • Any knowledge of security controls (such as access control management, SIEM operation, DLP management) would be a huge plus!
