Joining the Cyber Security IT team, you will monitor our customer’s computer networks for security issues, install security software, and trace, record and assess any security vulnerabilities, issues or breaches. We’re looking for someone with strong written communication and interpersonal skills, along with a natural curiosity and a desire to explore new approaches.
This is a junior role and both technical and personal development training will be provided. We will consider entry-level candidates with IT skills, Graduates with Cyber Security as part of their degree or Junior Cyber Security Analysts. You will need to be eligible for DV clearance.

What you will do:
- Monitoring of computer networks for security issues using state of the art tools
- Assist in the Investigation of security breaches and other cyber security incidents
- Document security breaches
- Work with security team to perform tests and identify potential network vulnerabilities
- Assist with assessing and proposing resolutions to any detected vulnerabilities to maintain the systems integrity
- Keep up to date with Cyber security trends and innovations
It would be great if you had:
- Computer networks and penetration testing techniques
- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts
- Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them
- Patch management with the ability to deploy patches
- The ability to obtain DV security clearance
- Technical understanding of Cloud technologies and computer systems

Salary: £20,000 to £30,000 per annum dependent on experience
