We are looking for a strong candidate with experience as a Security Analyst in the IT industry. Reporting to the Security Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring security alerts, consulting on Cyber Essentials and fixing security related issues.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security alerts and queries
- Provide consultancy for projects relating to Cyber Essentials certification
- Assisting other staff and customers with security related queries
- Troubleshooting and fix security related system issues
- Respond to customer security incidents
- Implementation of security principles and products at customer sites
- Maintain our IT customer documentation database
Knowledge, Experience and Skills Required
- Must be able to work on own initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A passion for information and cyber security
- Knowledge of Microsoft environments (Windows server, Windows desktops, Office 365, Exchange etc)
- Working knowledge of networking and security principles (Network+ / Security+ / SSCP certifications a real advantage)
- Experience with Cyber Essentials helpful
- Experience with Anti-Virus, Mail gateway solutions – preferably Sophos and Mimecast
- Project work / Customer consulting
- Vulnerability scanning and associated remediations

Working Hours
Able to cover the following shift patterns: 8:00-4:30 / 9:00-5:30 / 9:30-6:00
